Man U ads on NSC

I just logged in to find an offer for Man U away shirts on the banner underneath the NSC logo.

I know the site is earning from the ads but do we really need to be advertising kit, which makes Man U money, on an Albion forum??

Sorry, I understand the site needs to earn its keep. Just a bit perturbed to see a Man U ad.

From what I understand the Ad's are meant to be smart. I mean, it scans the content of the site and displays whichever adverts most suit the content of the site on which it appears.

By simply meantioning THAT club you are adding fuel to the fire.

I can put a block on certain sites appearing in the ads but as my learned friend from Nailsea says - the ads are context sensitive to the words on the web-page.

I'll put a block on the sites that are listing Man U, Arsenal and Villa products when I next see them.

And none of them earn a penny (or cent as it actually is) if no-one clicks on them...

The two I just saw are "Donate to Charity" & "American Cancer Society". Where are the threads on these two subjects? Have I missed them
