Plenty of managers out there who would think Brighton is a challenge.

Name one then?

WHEN he goes, which hopefully won't be so long that this season isn't a complete write off, we'll have applications for the job like we always do.
That's if Wendy doesn't get it.
A new manager will be able to get loan players in until the transfer window reopens, then he will be able to convince players to come here, something that Magoo has failed miserably at.
The sooner he goes the f***ing better.

I personally don't think Wilkings is the answer yet and for Curbs coming here:lolol:No to Megson as well

I think Wilkins would get the job, and in different circumstances I'd be supportive. However, I doubt if he has many connections for loans and although the youth team did well last season, I can't see many of them being up to it.

Would you trust Wilings with a 150k to buy a new player?Remember Peake-Case?I would rather an experienced manager to try can get things moving again.Knight might just use Wilkings which is worrying

Curbishley is in New Zealand for whole of September visiting his sister who has lived there for 20 years or so - doesn't want a job until October at earliest

Talking to Forest fans the other week - they said performances under Megson were rubbish and the football all long ball and deep defending etc - we had enough of that in Mcghee's first season - although it was ultimately successful in that we won the play off final

Ok I think it's time for a change in manager, but wish people wouldn't act as if they would be so happy about it. McGhee is a proud man and isn't going to do a bad job on purpose, I feel sorry for him, because at the moment he is on a hiding to nothing, just feel the amount of venom and anger towards him is a bit unfair. Yes we all have frustrations to release but some comments on here are below the belt. How would you like it of you done your job under 1000's of eyes waiting for you to cock up, then saying how crap you are.

All the better he goes now then - it's only going to get worse, and I fear the vittriol is increasingly going to be directed at Knight, which would be unfortunate.

Im sorry Dick Knight deserves to get plenty about the state of whats happening on the pitch. No signing, loads of bollocks PR about signings, all our assets sold, the manager he refused to sack hung out to dry.

replace with mickey mouse oh sorry he already is the manager
and if he talks to the squad like he did on the radio i can see why they don't play with confidance because he has no passion to instill anything in the squad

It's down to the chairman, not the manager. All the manager does is notify the chairman of targets, the rest is down to the chairman....
