apparently we have just signed Luke Moore on a season loan from Villa. Does anyone know anything about this ??

There were rumours but nothing substantiated. If true an excellent signing.

Could be plausible too as O'Leary is looking at signing Kanu and Moore wouldn't be getting near the Villa first team.

Scored 4 in 6 for Wycombe before joining Villa. Made 7 sub appearances for them last year.

Would say thats our striker problem well sorted with Knight, Mcphee, Molango, and Robinson.

Now we just need a couple of Midfielders and a defender and its Play offs here we come!

Would prefer to see perm signings, but season-long laons are the next best option for a club like ours... don't know anything about this particular player, but sounds like could be a winner...

That said, I would think that MM would go for a big target man rather than someone who is less than 6 ft tall...

I think Luke Moore is a midfielder in any case, the young striker Villa have is Stefan Moore and with their signing of Carlton Cole, as well as having Vassell and Angel make his first team chances slim

5ft 11" only 1 inch short of 6 ft. but also 7" taller than knight, and i dont think knight is too bad in the air for a small player. a player at 5ft 11" could be very usefull in the air, maybe even better than most 6ft plus players. who knows.
