Armed burglars broke into the house of Real Madrid star Luis Figo Friday and made off with vaulables and jewellery, El Pais newspaper reported Saturday.
The two thieves forced their way into the Portuguese player's luxury residence and tied up an employee who was alone in the house at the time.
They snatched family jewellery and made off with a safe containing valuables.
Figo, his wife Helen Svedin, and their young daughter were not in the house at the time.
