My mate wore a pair of gloves to the Goldstone against Hull City in the 96-97 season. It was the first time he had worn them and we won 3-0 - Steve Gritt's first game in charge and the end of a long run of home defeats/draws.

He had to wear them for the next match...then the next match, then the next match... He ended up wearing gloves to the Goldstone in May! I always thank Robbie Rienelt when I think of that season, but I think the real heroes were Chris Tuck's gloves - undefeated in probably twelve appearances!

I have a lucky Albion scarf, although I've never tried it with England ...

I had a lucky bandanna for the last World Cup, although I obviously did it up wrong for the QF :nono:

Don't have a lucky item of clothing, but I do have an UNlucky one. I bought a yellow away shirt, and Albion have never won when I've worn it. Needless to say, it will never darken the turnstiles of Withdean again.

Well my England boxers were not lucky aginst France, but my England socks did the trick against the swiss. They will be worn again for the Croatia game whether they're crusty or not.
