ALBION fringe striker Elvis Manu says he made the “wrong choice” signing for the club in the summer and is now in an unhappy marriage.
The 22-year-old, bought from Feyenoord for £1.5 million in August, has revealed his frustrations at limited first team opportunities in an interview with Dutch newspaper Metro.
Manu has struggled to impress manager Chris Hughton and supporters.
He is yet to start a game for the Seagulls in the Championship, finally making his full debut in the FA Cup exit at Hull earlier this month after eight substitute appearances.
Manu said: “I once asked him (Hughton) why am I here. I always get the answer that I must be patient and must continue to train hard. Brighton and I do not have a happy marriage.”
