Now a long time ago I used to be on North Stand Chat a lot in the old days but over the past year or so have found myself contributing to a Millwall message board run by my flat mate now where as I don’t agree with a lot of there views apart from the fact that I don’t rate McGhee as a manager and nor do they. When McGhee was appointed Brighton manager I came on here saying that I felt it was the wrong choice and took a lot of criticism for it even to the extent of some people saying I was a Millwall fan trying to stir it up. Now I have kept an eye on what is said on here and over the past season and have seen in some posts that people aren’t quite so happy with McGhee as they were. That’s not to say he hasn’t done an ok job because he has, even when I was saying I didn’t want him I acknowledged the fact that he had a habit of doing well with teams he inherited but the problems arise when he has to move on to the next level with that team I just don’t see us developing under McGhee. However Come Saturday I will be at the Den cheering on my beloved Seagulls for all I’m worth if only because if we win I’ll have bragging rights in my flat for a few months.
