Long shot and/or cheeky request

Yesterday (Sunday) at the Race Day my son (Joe) assudiously tracked down all the players and got their autographs in his new BHA autograph book. However when he was helping me out with the Pantomime Horse race he managed to lose it. He was running alogside the course with the 'horses' and it must have fallen out of his pocket.

So two things:

1 - The long shot. Did anyone leaving the course after the very last race pick up a blue autograph book? A lot of the autographs were signed 'To Joe'.

2 - The request. If anyone from the club is reading this would it be possible to get the autographs again in another book? I realise people must make this type of request all the time and normally I wouldn't dream of asking but as I was 'sort of' working for the club at the time I thought It was worth a shout.

Please reply or PM me if you can help.

Thanks.

No? So I'll have to go home tonight and when his little tear-stained face looks up at me and asks "Did the nice people on NSC help to get my autograph book back Daddy?" I shall have to tell him that nobody cares.

I've lost the autograph book that I had when I was a kid. It had Gary Chivers, Mike Small, John Byrne, John Robinson among many others, so I know how he feels. Sorry, its brought the memories flooding back........

Thanks hiney, got your PM as well. Trotster - thanks, I left my details with some people there but as I say it's was a pretty slim chance. Rangdo, I'll pass on your sympathies!
