Me and the better half go to the big smoke for the weekend 3 or 4 times a year, should we get ourselves oyster cards or just stick to buying 2-3 day travel cards each time we go? Any advice on the matter would be appreciated. Cheers

I use Oyster card as its convenient too me.
But when relatives visit, we recommend they use contact less payment.

Contactless is capped to the same amount as an oyster card now so works really well - especially with buses.

Hopper fares are being introduced on Monday for PAYG Oyster Cards and contactless cards.

Tap in on a second bus within 60 minutes of the first tap in and the second journey is free.
