Is anyone watching Channel 4 at the moment.

It would appear that a minority of teenagers are copying the more extreme aspects of American Wrestling. I am not a Mary Whitehouse (listen to me on a terrace) but some of these kids could give themselves permanent injuries.

The teenagers in question, from various parts of the country, all state it is staged. If so how then could they explain getting cut from a flouresent light tube being smashed across their back.
Then wahat happens to these teenagers once they become adults.

Could some of these young adults also have some of this bored and pent agression because football is too expensive for them to follow.

Sorry, I know its not football, but a bit of a rant, and my first and possibly last subject.

It's a debate that has gone on for years.

Do tv and films affect what youngsters do?

Some argue that kids know that tv/films aren't reality so therefore not tempted to copy what they see. The fact remains that there are copycat crimes
The two boys that murdered Jamie Bulger, for instance, copied something they had seen in a video.
Clockwork Orange was banned for years because a man was killed in the 70's in exactly the same way.

That programme made me laugh all the way through.

I tried not to take it seriously but the bit when two 15/16 year olds are sitting down playing with plastic wrestling figures in one of those toy rings you could get was absolutely hilarious and then after a while just plain sad. Why aren't they down the park getting f***ing on cider?

Sorry, what I meant to say Chapmans has got it spot on. I was drinking cider in the local park, and trying to get into pubs etc. Not smashing light tubes over a mates head etc. And yes wasn't they both sad palying with plastic dolls.

I saw that. Unbeleivable.

Especially the geordies, that bit was surreal. A bespectacled boy and a chubby girl hitting each other with road signs on a mattress in full view of a run down estate. What the f*** was all that about?

"he's a very dark character, i'm very dark..." LOSER.

Can we go and invade their forum? Oh go on, please.

The forum seems to be quite hard to get onto but i can't wait.

I'm gonna pretend to be a wrestler. What should my name be?
