Sami Hyypia's legendary status at Liverpool is everlasting.
Current Liverpool central defender Dejan Lovren has used his Instagram account to pay tribute to the Albion boss.
The Croatian uploaded a picture of himself as a 14-year-old, posing alongside Hyypia.
He accompanied the image with a message: "Look what I found today me and Sami Hyypia. I was 14 at that time it was a moment that i will never forget ! #LFC #Legend"

Liverpool could do with Hyypia's defensive qualities. They have leaked ten goals, as many as any team in the top ten, in a slow start to their Premier League campaign.
