[Misc] Lightbulb moment

Any sparkies or DIY gurus got any ideas as to where I can buy an E18 lightbulb?

Some of the fittings in our house appear to have E18 bulbs, but I'm drawing a total blank looking on Amazon etc. Even online guides to lightbulb sizes don't seem to list E18 as a size.

Or would I be ok putting a standard size like E14 in the socket?

Have you looked at what the light fitting says it is? They usually have a stamp or sticker in there.

E18 seems... ...unlikely.

Never heard of an E18 bulb before. If you can get another bulb to fit size wise, should be ok as it refers to the fitting size

E18 and odd size. The 18 is the width of the screw right ? I see E17 is available albeit rare.

You can also buy adapters which just narrow the diameter of the socket. You need to speak to an electrician because I have no ideas of their safety.
