Hi, wondered if anyone is going through Chailey on their way to the Amex tonight? I got last minute tickets and as I have my leg in plaster and am on crutches, not able to drive.
Me and my boy are going to our first game and would appreciate if anyone could oblige. Happy to pay for the privilege, no spaces on any of the coaches as all booked out.
Do your bit for the disabled (even if only temporarily)!
:bhasign:
Thanks in advance, Adam

I remember a thread on this a few weeks ago, and I think it was a split decision, some have mananged it, some haven't. One poster I think had asked the club and was told that he wouldn't get in, but others had said they'd turned up and got in ok. I can't remember all the details though - it'll be to do with Health & Safety no doubt.

I could maybe provide a lift to Lewes station although the car is quite small and you'd have to sit in the back, also I'd need to run this past the missus but if you're stuck...

Only a lift there mind, can't give you one back to Chailey.

There was a bloke on crutches struggling to get up to the WSU the other week. Jobsworth stewards wouldn't let him use the lift, must have taken him most of the first half to get up there.

Can't imagine you'll have a problem getting in on crutches if you are in plaster.

That is a mate of mine, they will not allow you to use the lifts, but are prepared to let you hobble up the stairs.
If you can get hold of Chris, head steward (chap with gappy teeth), lovely bloke, and he will offer to take you down in the lift at the finish.
To be fair, the turnstile stewards will let WSU holders transfer to Lower West if you cant manage the stairs.
But you will be allowed in with crutches, even if in the disabled section.
