Letter in Observer Sport section - erh, by me!!

Opened my Observer Sport section this morning to see a letter written by my good self having a dig at simple Simon Jordan, in response to his column last week.

If I might be so bold and repeat it here:

Brighton fans are used to being belittled by anyone associated with Palace, and being told we are not worthy of their rivalry. But it seems, from what Simple Simon says, those days are long gone. "If you pay to watch Palace v Crewe it's £20. To watch us play a top side, it's £30", he said last week. Spookily, I received my tickets for the forthcoming Palace v Brighton showdown the day after reading his column. The cost: £30. Clearly Palace have realised what we've known all along.

Aaaghh, fame and fortune beckons.......

Nice one, up yours Jordan!

Thanks for the kind words, actually I missed off the opening paragraph and have clearly used the wrong font - I was squinting, don't know about the rest of you!

:glare:

This is the re-start of a promising career in writing, look out for my preview of The Wedding Present in the Kent and Sussex Courier next week!
