( With apologies to the Laughing Bluebird who is a genuinly nice bloke)

On Tuesday week the scum that is C*****F City will be gracing us with theire presence at Withdean.

Will they behave themselves or will they behave like the scum they are?

Will taffy be making an appearance?

Are they still a sleeping giant, or just some Welsh crap team of over acheivers?

I'm worried. Our track record of winning games and sacking their manager has gone off the rails since whinging boring old Dave Jones escaped with a flukey 1-0 win.

And like Wolves, we've always taken points off Cardiff.

Not looking forward to getting to the ground in the dark for this one. I guess if the OB wouldn't let us through Snakey Lane for the QPR game, there's no chance for this one (or Leeds) either, so I have to leave the pub 2 minutes earlier to allow for the longer walk round London Road.

Looking forward to the 3 points, though.

Who let the sheep out? :sheep:

I hardly think you need to worry about a Tuesday night game. I can't see the Soul Crew turning out for this one.

A few years ago, when Albion and City were among the biggest clubs in the lower divisions, this fixture would no doubt have attracted a fair percentage of our hooligan element. But now, with regular games against the likes of Leeds, West Ham, Millwall, Sheffield United, Wolves, Forest, etc, Brighton is not exactly high on the hooligan hit-list.

Besides, we're rubbish at the moment. We have taken good numbers away to a few of the higher-profile matches (most notably Wolves, where there was bedlam after the game), but the turnout at some of the less-attractive fixtures has been mediocre at best. I'd be very surprised if we sold our allocation for this one.

Not much doubt about that, although they have been relatively quiet recently. Quite a number of games that were seen as potential flashpoints (Leeds at home, Forest away, etc) passed off without incident.

Wolves was chaos after the game though. The distance our coaches were parked from the ground was incredible, and the home nutters were able to launch numerous attacks as we walked back to them.

Our lot were in their element of course, and there were running battles for over an hour after the game. Widespread disorder. The worst I'd seen since Stoke away in 2000. Our coaches didn't leave the car park until well past 6pm.

The streets outside Molineux must be a nightmare to police due to the position of the ground. I bet it kicks off there on a regular basis. Which probably explains why the trouble didn't even rate a mention in their local newspapers after the game.

Nothing at all happened outside the ground after the game and two of my mates, who travelled back on the train, reported no problems on the escort back to the station. We had plenty of trouble with the stewards inside the ground, but nothing happened outside.

We had trouble with the stewards inside the ground trying to make us sit down all the time. Dont think we helped the situation by continous chants of "Stand up if you want Falmer!"

There was a thread about your trip to the City Ground a couple of weeks back. We had real problems with the Forest stewards when we went there. They were the worst I've ever encountered in 30 years of following City away, particularly the chief steward who spent 90 minutes trying to irritate as many people as he could. Utter tosser.
