I've been forced to miss today's game through having to work and in my boredom I found this Sun story on the net. When Francis was ousted at Palace Rosenior was linked with the Selhurst job. He must have turned them down waiting for the bigger club to come along.
Here's the story from the Sun last season anyway:
LEROY IN THE CRYSTAL GAZE
LEROY ROSENIOR has emerged as one of the front runners to take over at Crystal Palace after the sacking of Trevor Francis. Rosenior has cut his teeth as boss of Third Division Torquay and impressed while taking them to the fringe of the play offs on a tight budget.
The former West ham striker, 38, has a sixth month rolling deal at Plainmoor but the club have yet to make him an offer betond this summer.
He said: 'I am flatteredby the stories I have heard. Of course I'd be interested. Who wouldn't?
'Palace is a job I would consider seriously.'
