who says we have to sell him...........we could just give him away or release him....................he only has a contract up to the end of the season.

I think a lower league team will come in for him anyway................he has proved he can score goals at that level.

Perhaps at this level, I agree, however in the 1st ( 3rd Divi) he will score as he has proved.

I am not expecting a penny for him.....

Also didn't Chelsea have a sell on clause!

Oh yes, i had forgotten that actually. Thanks for the reminder.

Still, Ian Hart and Andrew Hawes reckon we'll get 3 million for him.

Yes I think Chelsea do get a certain percentage....................can't see them being too bothered when we get 10k for him :)

So Leon is a BRILLIANT player, EXCELLENT attitude, and PROVEN ENGLISH goalscorer and it's a SHAME to see him go even for 5 million.

100k would be a coup for our club in today's market, and with Leon's scoring record and attitude...

Would be an excellent signing for someone like Forest, Swansea, Huddersfield. Could quite easily play for a number of clubs in this division, although we may be reluctant to sell to them.

I would be surprised if he manages to land a contract at any other CCC club...

I'd love it if they only offer we got for him was a loan offer from Torquay or Rushden and Diamonds, and we told him he had to go. That would certainly make him sit up and take notice of where that little pikey thinks his career is going with his attitude.

You reckon he'd prefer for us to just freeze him out until his contract finishes? Personally, I don't think so.

Neither of us know that do we.

I was just pointing out he doesnt have to go anywhere if he doesnt want to a pick up his wage.

Hopefully Swansea will pay £200k for him when Trundle moves to Everton. :D
