just had a call from a good mate of mine who's been talking to a big millwall fan who's mates with former millwall and brentford striker leon constantine and leon has told him he's in talks with brighton about linking up with his old millwall boss mm.

now as he scored 20 odd goals for southend last season i didnt think it was very likley of us paying wat southend reguired for him but after having a good read on www.theshrimperszone.com it appears that he is public enermy no 1 at roots hall cos he's refused to sign a new deal and has left the club so maybe there might be something in it

he's 6ft 3 25 years old and although he scored 3 goals in 10 games for the 0's on loan in 2001/02 until last season he'd only played 1 game for the wall and 3 plus a handful of late sub apperances for brentford since he joined millwall in 2000 from edgware town.reading some match reports on southend website it sounds like his pretty mobile and good at turning in the box and a striker that doesn't mind having a crack from distance

Whats wrong with Barry Fry then?-seems a decent enough chap!

Put your rod away, I'm not biting :D

A young-ish striker that banged in 20+ goals last season signed for free - sounds like a good deal I agree.

But Fry signs strikers like kids collect toys and our defence remains shocking - a holed speedboat eventually sinks.
