Farke did well the last time he was in the PL I’m hoping he has the same success with Leeds.Leeds have some decent players.
And this time they don't have a constipated chip shop mentalist or Troy Tempest managing them.
They won't go down.
Sham, Bumley and Mackems for the drop.
I think Leeds will make the right moves and be competitive. Fully expect the other two to be overrun in the PL, though Sunderland have at least shown ambition with some of their recent signings. I can't see Parker's 'shut up shop and nick a goal' being successful, I think they'll be cut adrift by Xmas.
I'll await this being bounced next April when each of these have proven to be totally wrong.
Us if arrogance is proportional to failure it seems.Dirrty have a chance….
But who goes down instead?
Supporting Brighton, Aldershot Town and Whitehawk, I have only ever been compromised once. That being the FA Cup tie in 2000.The way the last few weeks have gone, Im now convinced Sunderland will feckin' stay up next season.
Why?
Ok - Im a born and bred Geordie , aged 61. I have lived in Brighton/Hove since 1992, so started going along to the Goldstone Ground to watch a struggling new local team whilst also being a lifelong Newcastle fan since the late 60s. I started becoming a passionate Brighton fan during the last two seasons at the Goldstone - went to most of the home games in that "Build a bonfire " season of 96/97. There was no conflict with Keegan's Newcastle United, at the top of the Premier league. What could be the harm? It was like supporting two teams in completely different sports.
30 years on, I have been a season ticket holder at Brighton since 1999, and support two teams, wholly naturally , NEITHER plucked from the telly, or because one was "winning everything", and BOTH because they were my local teams from large periods of my life. Deal with it.
I also grew to viscerally dislike Liverpool and Man Utd , through the 70s, 80s and 90s.....
So - I start every season with FOUR clubs I really cannot stand - and hope that they dont win anything - these four are Liverpool, Man Utd, Sunderland and Crustal Palace.
In the last four weeks , bloody Liverpool have won the Premier league, Feckin Palace have won the FA Cup, and now the Mackams have won their bloody final to leap into the premier League. I am growing paranoid. Somebody up there hates me. You bastard !!!
That kinda worked for us under Hughton in our first season. I can remember some awful games where we parked the bus and hoped for the best !I think Leeds will make the right moves and be competitive. Fully expect the other two to be overrun in the PL, though Sunderland have at least shown ambition with some of their recent signings. I can't see Parker's 'shut up shop and nick a goal' being successful, I think they'll be cut adrift by Xmas.

This feeling never goes away when our best players get nicked during the summer either. The prospect of losing Mitoma and Pedro fills me with anxiety for next season. I know we’ve been there before and been OK but it doesn’t stop me feeling this way !I always begin the season imagining we might end up down there.
Don’t know how long it’s going to take me to shed the programming of my first 30 years following the Albion.![]()
I’m going to throw something out there….. I don’t think Pedro has been all that this season. In fact at times he’s been a bloody liability, Everton at home anyone? Obviously Brentford but he’d had a good 2 or 3 goes at that in earlier games. Something changed in him when he got the Brazil call. This feeling never goes away when our best players get nicked during the summer either. The prospect of losing Mitoma and Pedro fills me with anxiety for next season. I know we’ve been there before and been OK but it doesn’t stop me feeling this way !
Walk, bike ride or silence? 50p a mile?Would be happy to see The Black Cats r3main, sadly I think only Leeds may achieve this due to sponsorship money.
