give him a pre season of getting fit and will be a real asset in this league if we can keep hold of him. Always looking for a through ball and trying to get forward

Agreed. Very composed and has a good eye for a pass. He always seems to have time on the ball.

I think he earned himself a contract today.

Thought he was class today, my mom. Did not see him waste one pass all game and he is still getting used to playing regular football again. Lets hope we get him signed up on a two year deal. He can pull all the strings in midfield next season, in a promotion push and would still have a good year left in the tank for the championship. Would also make a statement to other potential summer signings, of the sort of players we should be able to attract, with Falmer just a season away.

Hadn't really rated him in the last few games, but he was rather good today. Snap him up and give him a full pre-season!

i thought he was alright, but not spectacular. He moved well and played finer sideways passes than the rest of our team could, but was never deadly, and fell limply with the ball that led to the weak goal we conceded. He'd be a good signing, but i wouldn't build a side around him from what i saw today. Fitness of course might still be an issue.

Seems to me that Hendrie has been brought in to push Dicker or maybe take his place next season. Hendrie had a decent enough game for me, but I think that Dicker offers more at the moment. Would be happy to see them both in the squad for next season.

When he was at Villa didn't he play wide?

I thought he would be in a wide position today in a 4-4-2 but he seemed to pop up with the ball in the middle alot and we didn't really have anyone on the left.

He had a good game and I hope he signs up for next season

This is what I thought against Southend where he made little impact and exposed Painter. Is he being given a free role by Gus?

Thoiught that Hendrie had a good game today I like his composure on the ball and the way he does a little swerve and makes himself space. Think Gus will sign him for next season.

Like him - Def sign him - Can't believe we're talking bout signing him permanantly - quite a 'name' for us even if he is slightly older now
