LDV Trophy ticket & weak team RIP OFF

LDV Van thingy - if he plays the reserves that is a rip off to season ticket holders and if say the club charge £ 10 or any reduced admission then the club should refund the difference above this up to the 'normal' single ticket price or they will be ripping off their seaosn tick holders that have this one as their 'free' 1st home cup tie, i know ive said this on another thread and im not wish to always repeat things but feel so strong that in past games like this were reduced admission the club need to take this into account and knowing MP reads on here from time to time hope he reads this one! As far as the team is put ot i expect us always to field the strongest team and if its a numpty cup then why enter withdraw or else play it prroperly and fairly dont be a small Moan United and rip the fans off by playing a weakened team.

Has it been announced that this IS our free cup game?

Surely we should be allowed to hang onto our ticket and take the chance that we get another home Cup game to use it on.

Why should you get a free ticket anyway.

Its luck of the draw thats all. I know you've paid good money for your season tickets but you wouldn't be praising the club if we happened to be at home to Man Utd in the 3rd round of the cup i don't think.

Live with it.

point is its ripping fans off club know it and they are stretching the faith to the limit and they know they are ripping us off by also fielding a weak team the FA should fine them and any other club doing likewise

We should get a free ticket for a Cup game (if we get a home cup game) because that is part of the deal when we buy a season ticket.

I would certainly still buy one even if it wasn't the case, but having sold it on that basis .....

oh you know where I'm going.

its not free its paid for by over priced expensive season ticket holders, how does that make it free ?

Its not free I agree, its to buy of dumfucks who keep moaning about the cost of season tickets who are to f***ing thick to realise that the club could probably sell twice as many season tickets and the club needs the money to stop going bust.

Thats you stupid.

Bascially I agree, we pay our seaosn ticket money for a 24 match package. The cup game is one of these 24 matches so it is the same price as any othe rticket. TO go to watch a game against forest green with the youth team playing is an insult, The last time we were in the ldv, I remember paying a tenner a ticket for a home tie, can't remember who it was against now. SO in theory if we had already had our cup tie in the carling cup then this would have been a tenner a ticket game.

As such it means if we get a hame draw in the FA cup they can then stiff a full price ticket out of everyone who wants togo over and above the price of the seaosn ticket.

Its always the fans that lose out everytime.

The fact is that the season ticket is for all league games plus the first home cup game. There is no suggestion that any of these tickets are free.

Therefore, the club are charging the same price for this game as a league game, whereas in the past they have reduced the prices for the LDV Trophy.

I'm afraid that I agree with FG on this one, though I don't think he's making the point clear enough!

The club haven't (I don't think) announced that this is the "Cup Game 1" game, but then they shouldn't need to, as it's obvious!

What would be nice would be if they announced that it WOULDN'T be the game included in the season ticket and reserve that for a proper game that our first team will play, not the reserves.
