anyone else go?? Poyet was on top form and answered a lot of difficult questions honestly, really reaffirmed him in my mind and justified a lot of decisions.

see hartys thread for Forster stuff, lots of debate on there. Gus says he hates loan system and is only using it as it is not his squad at the moment, his dream is to be succesful for a long time with a singular club, there are 5 youth teamers he likes the look of but only 1 is ready to step up right now, (the big centre back whos name escapes me) he thinks agents are ruining the game which is also being destroyed by the loan system as rather than fighting for their places players just ask for a loan move. He talked about his Chelsea and Spurs contacts, the decent Spurs players available for loan were only available to Championship squads and when he contacted Chelsea and spoke about the positions he needed they informed him that the players were not up to scratch. i will elaborate on any of these points should you wish me too.

In the positions Gus wanted to fill the players (apparently) at Chelski were not physically up to league 1. At Spurs the better players e.g. Jake Livermore were only available to Championship sides as Spurs dont run a reserve team in a league, so obviously Gus does not rate the likes of Bostock and Obika who are at league 1 sides.

I'm not accusing you or Gus of lying it just seems a bit bizarre that Chelsea's supposed 'stars of the future' are not capable of playing at league 1 level when they should in theory be playing in the premiership in a few years time!

Brighton
Did he mention which Chelsea players were not good enough for a relegation threatened League One team My Love?... If so I'd love to know, I'd have to question what the hell they are doing at Chelsea?...

agreed however you're missing the point that it was specific positions Gus wanted there are stars in Chelsea reserve side we all know that but maybe only in positions already filled at Brighton?

Chelsea youth are not great (look at some of their results) bar the few that they paid big money for.
