Last night - like a cup final?!

Ok, slight exagguration there!

But how come we get gates of about 5000 for the HOME games against Boston & MK dons, yet we manage to take the same amount of AWAY fans to Millwall, at a ground we'd only been to a couple of months earlier, in a cup nobody cares about?

How come we were bloody loud for 90 minutes, and everyone was going MENTAL when we scored and won the shootout.

How come the players went absolutely LOOPY, with Klinsmann-esque dives all over the place and mad scenes of celebrations?

Absolutely QUALITY night last night (even if we didn't create much with ten men, the performance was still much grittier and better than Saturdays), glad to see the fans and players making an occassion out of a relatively unimportant tie.

Not looking a gift horse in the mouth and no offence to anyone but it was seemingly filmed by Mohammed Ali. Still worth it though, mind.

Most definitely - too much to do, too little time and I am p'eed off that I didn't make the football and the Falmer delay.

I go to about one or two a season.

I couldn't make the first Milwall, but was keen to make this one.

I don't have any travelling companions - I go to the home games with my old man, but he doesn't travel to the away games. Bit of a lonely experience heading to games on my own - plus I'll be damned if I am to sit in a non-drinking coach!
Mind you, I don't think I have the time to go to more than that.

Also, is it me or are the acoustics at the Den really good? We always seem to make shiteloads of noise there. Compare that to Saturday, with no roof, and there's an incredible contrast in volume !
