[h=3]Kuszczak salutes goalkeeping rival[/h]6:01pm Monday 2nd December 2013 in Albion By Andy Naylor
Jack Butland has earned respect from in-form Albion keeper Tomasz Kuszczak
* Albion No. 1 Tomasz Kuszczak has praised the character of opposite number Jack Butland.
* England under 21 keeper Butland joined tomorrow night's visitors Barnsley on loan from Stoke at the end of September.
* The £4 million prospect conceded three more goals against his former club Birmingham on Saturday, a defeat which sent the Tykes tumbling to the bottom of the Championship table and cost boss Dave Flitcroft his job.
* Kuszczak said: "He has gone somewhere to try and play in a team which is conceding many goals, and nobody likes that.
* "You want to keep a clean sheet and have that good feeling but he is not afraid of that and fair play to him.
* "To go to a team that is struggling is not easy but he has accepted the challenge and this shows good character."
