I would not bother looking for a 2nd keeper at present and one of those two would do at present.

Kuipers has served us well in the past but let himself down by reacting as he did to being dropped. Just imagine every player who gets dropped doing the same. Others like Mayo and Hart, for example, just get on with it. I think McGhee has made the right decision in transfer listing him as an attitude like that displayed by Kuipers (as with Knight) can only be disruptive.

also, did you see that Rami Shabaan is in the Sweden squad for the World Cup?

That was a bit of a shock!

He was a decent keeper who maybe slightly underperformed for us towards the end of his loan spell because he was playing through an injury. While he came across as a bit of a big-head in his interviews, at least he deserves credit for that.

What it indicates to me, however, is how in the loan market for keepers does seem to be buyer's market, when you think we've had him, Hendo and Blayney all through in the past 18 months.

Hence while it would have been good to have had Hendo and a mentally-balanced Kuipers fighting for the shirt next season, we will just have to go into the loan market again if the worst happens to Hendo.
