I know that Dick etc. have said that the new stadium will be called something like The Community Stadium, which sounds good I have to say, but don't you think that - in way of tribute - KNIGHT'S FIELD

Somewhere within the complex there should be an area that carries DK's name. I imagine we will have to wait until he quits though, as I doubt his ego needs massaging enough for him to do it himself whilst chairman. The man is a legend and should have his name attached to the stadium for as long as it is our home.

My choice would be the main stand or the gates (if it has any)

Maybe his name could go above the Big Screen - Knight Vision?

Maybe we could add a bit of facial fungus to the Steve Ovett statue, slap a bronze pint of Guinness in his hand and move it to the entrance to Flamer and job done.

Pryce Griffith at Wrexham has a stand named after him, and I figure that DK is due the same.

As for the other stands, as Falmer is located in the infamous Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty, (ANOB), I figure there should be a Knob, instead of the overdone Kop, at the home end.

The landlord of The Swan's gotta be in the running to have one of the stands named after him......just to piss him off even more.

What about the road leading to the stadium called the Dick Knight Road.

After all the very clever puns and play on words of the other posts, yours definitely made me laugh the most Kev.

You can have the name "Gay Meadow" now if you want, seeing as we're moving- I know it's a name you've always covetted.
