Having finalised transfer terms with Chelsea this morning, Albion
chairman Dick Knight is currently in detailed negotiations with Leon
Knight's agent, Geoff Weston of SDM, over the player's personal
terms on a two-year contract that the Albion chairman has offered to
the striker.



QPR are making a bid to sign the player and two other First Division
clubs are known to be interested, but progress is being made in
talks with the Albion and the Seagulls chairman is hopeful that a
deal can be finalised on Thursday.

Of course we all know that both should be First Division clubs, but you can't say other when you haven't mentioned any in the first place.

I can assure you its not. Strikers are the last thing we need at the moment.

I have a feeling it'll be Cardiff or Wigan. Even though Wigan have just signed a striker, Ellington is out for a while.

It only says other clubs are interested. That says to me we have got a lot further down the line than any other club.
