Knight blasts Blues
Chelsea striker Leon Knight has hit out at the Premiership big spenders as he prepares to complete a transfer to Brighton.
The 20-year-old has scored four goals in two games during a loan-spell at the Withdean Stadium and can not wait to make the deal permanent after the Seagulls beat off interest from QPR.
"I want to get out of Chelsea and Steve Coppell and Brighton are the right combination for me," he told the Argus.
"It wasn't a difficult decision, I spoke to Rangers out of courtesy.
"I want to put Chelsea behind me, I feel they have been holding me back. This move gives me stability, no more talk of the loanee from Chelsea or going back to Chelsea and proving myself over and over again."
