Yes, looks like it.

I like the fact that we look after ex-players, and give them the opportunity to develop their career.

It's part of the culture that Bloom and Barber have mentioned they are keen to instill across the club and remain a constant despite any changes of manager etc. A lot easier to do when you have coaches that have played for us and know the culture the club want, having those coaches involved with the academy setup means it's instilled in players from a young age and that consistency will help any that eventually do make the step up to the first team squad.. Lallana will more than likely be next to move into one of those roles, like Crofts, Sidwell, Rosenior and Bruno before him.

Coaching isnt the only path either, you've got Gordon Greer now performing the loan/pathway development manager role that David Weir used to do. Another player that understands the club inside out.

Extends to the community work as well……

Hope so re Lallana, and without revisiting old ground is still why I feel Bruno would have been fine.

We really are a well run club.
