his strength and driving style of play would give us something we haven't had since Hammond moved on but he has asked for a transfer knowing that Ipswich are desperate to sign him and my guess is that is where he wants to go unfortunately.

He must be aware that he proably wont get those kind of wages at a lower club but if Gus has the gen on him and a deal can be negotiated who knows. What I dont understand is why ask for a transfer with only 48 hours of the window left would have thought he would have done it 2 weeks ago ro raise interest.
