JVC EVERIO video editing problem - NSC help required

I made a film up at the Amex on Thursday which includes extended highlights of Martin Perry's Season ticket presentation and a mini vox pop with some of the fans who were up there buying their tickets.
I reckon it will be popular, especially for those of you who haven't seen the presentation, and will make a good addition to Countdown 2 Falmer. Brighton and Hove Albion Stadium. Amex Stadium.

BUT for some reason my system has developed a problem in that when the editing is done, and the file is saved in Windows Media Player, I've lost the sound. Just like the video of Albion Flyer's first race, the video is there but no sound. And this video obviously needs the sound or there's no point.

So is there anyone out there with any ideas? Anyone with the JVC Everio editing system who might be able to explain what's gone wrong?

I have obviously still got the raw files, and can possibly load everything onto another computer - if I can find one - but I'd rather not have to.

Any help would be appreciated - I really want you to be able to see this film.

Off to Brizzle shortly. But any advice appreciated from the computer geniuses of NSC

Are you able to export the audio as a separate sound file?

Thanks Bozza, that is undoubtedly the answer, BUT the laptop I use is a company laptop and they have prevented me installing any software. I have no access to Administration manager. Indeed I reckon they have taken this off my machine, because it used to be ok.
I am going to try and put the file on a stick and upload it on one of my kids machines. Thanks for your help.
