Yes, yes, I know, not supposed to discuss moderating decisions blah blah blah - but as there's no entry in the moderating forum I feel justified in asking this.

Just re-reading the 'Buba' thread (on Israeli infiltration, NSC at it's collective best) and I notice that the tag under Juan Albion's name comes up as 'Banned'. Anybody know why? I'm sure we've all got our own opinions of him but I wonder what a 'man of the cloth' could have done to piss off the mods?

Mods: feel free to give the answer in the correct forum and lock/ remove this thread.

I notice that Looney's been banned for a year though. Bit of a surprise as he's been posting the same sort of nonsense for years - he was barking, but a bit harmless.

His constant sniping at the mods while contributing the square root of f*** all on any other thread (football related or otherwise) has come home to roost. The mods have had enough of him apparantly.

Harsh? Maybe. but I can't say I blame them really.

Oh, and I can think of one good reason why Juan Albion should be banned too. Not going to say it here because of the binfest it would provoke.

Seems to just be a joke, not having actually been banned...and has never done anything that deserves a ban either...lets not start threads about individual posters shall we? This seems to be like a player calling for another to get booked or sent off...disgraceful

Poyet Laureate - 1 week ban

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fannying about posting a picture of a kid with down syndrome.

Top secret second account also banned.
Ah is THAT it! Well done Danny, given El Pres's comment I think you might have found it.

Ah well, nothing spectacular, I must confess to being a tad disappointed (although it DOES clear up the mystery of who Poyet Laurete's alter ego was).

Anyway, game over, that's all folks, move along now, thanks for stopping by.

Quite strange behaviour really, masquerading as another person just to have a pop at others on here.

However will we cope without his 2 reply threads about some obscure North American sport.

They can't ban a priest, eternal damnation beckons.

Yes they f***ing can. That git once cost me £200 by going to the kinky trouble of mocking up an entire Argus front (or possibly back) page saying Bobby Zamora was coming back on a season long loan. I read that at 7 in the morning, our time, and was straight on to bet365.com to back us for promotion. Bastard!

Mind you, he is a fellow Smirks fan (Juan Albion that is, not Bobby Zamora) so shouldn't be too hard on him really. A ban is totally uncalled for. A simple kick in the nuts will suffice...
