he would play in the same position as jarrett, but id rather have jones starting than hammond, as he can play on the left, and hammond is out of position and is a much better player in the centre.

I would like to see Jones given a start. He had a good season 2 years ago at this level and has not been given a run yet. Play Jones on the left, but have the option of Jarret to come of the bench. Jarrett I think will be a really good player in a years time, but needs more experience and strength. A very useful substitute though as shown on Saturday.

But dont worry I agree - If he was lucky not to miss out it implies that he didnt miss out and was indeed invloved on Saturday which we must have all missed.

It also implies that MM thinks that he is nearly shit enough to miss out but not quite.

OK look i am going to stick up for Fridge. The comment was "does Jones deserve to be on the bench" not based on footballing ability but based upon MM's quote.
