ReallY am not convinced by the lad, tries too hard and as of yet hasnt lived up to the potential he offered 2-3 years ago.

He always seems reluctant to pass, and I think he looking last night like someone desperate to make an impression because he has been overtaken by rooney.

He is bloody fantastic. Needs more games at Chelsea to get his pasing game going, but his skill is second to none. He played ok last night - I have seen him play better for England, but he's not good enough (at the moment) for the first 11). Wait for a couple of years though - a force to be reckoned with.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Couldn't agree more, definately in the Frank Lampard 'promising younster' catagory.
Problem is how long can you promise but not deliver ??

Not convinced myself either, Still promosing, but how long are we expected to wait, Though playing with the sort of players he is at Chelsea will decide if he can go that step further.

He seems to play like he thinks he's still the best kid in the playground and won't pass to anyone else. If someone can have a word with him about this (or slap him round the head) I think he might do better.

Good potential but not sure he'll ever realise it, seemed desperate to shoot at every opportunity and there was one moment he could have laid in Neville but oh no, he had a touch of the Defoe's

Rooneys above him now in pecking order as happy to shoot but also more than willing to play the killer ball.

Looks like Cole needs to leave Chelski already if he is to further his international career

Lampard was absolute cack last night!

Would you bring in Ferdinand and Campbell for the Turkey game? I would be inclined to keep Upson in. He looked assured and comfortable on the ball and his defending was very sound...Campbell is just a camel

Joe Cole needs to be put in the left wing position and played there for a few games to find his feet. A few minutes at the end of games which are meaningless at the time are pointless, give him a proper go and w'll see a vast improvement, much like whats happened to that ugly fucker Rooney.

Eriksson also needs to quit f***ing with the formation and play 4-4-2.

James
Neville
Campbell
Ferdinand
Bridge
Beckham
Scholes
Gerrard
J.Cole
Heskey
Owen

I would be inclined to play a goalie myself.

p.s if cole is amazing how comes he doesn't figure in your 11?
