As soon as Al Fayed tightened the purse strings last year Fulham nearly got relegated. He would be off at the first sniff of a bigger job. Do we actually KNOW that he has applied for the job? Seems to me to be a cunning Argus ploy to sell a few papers. I thought he was running his vineyard in the south of France!
