this. in recent years he has been very poor. he did NOTHING at cardiff this season and has done very little for wigan in the last 2 years. not up to it anymore in my opinion

Completely disagree would be perfect for the Poyet style of football, releasing Buckley, Hoskins, Noone and whoever the star striker is going to be.

exactly 22 games out of 46 and cup games. 2 goals is not a great amount for an attacking creative midfielder in a season. I am sure most of those 22 appearences were from the subs bench. For the wages he could command, using him as an impact sub would be a waste.
