I'm in the Ottawa Valley between Arnprior and Renfrew. There's also @Vankleek Hill Seagull based in.... you guessed it... Vankleek Hill (Beaus Brewery area). I'm sure there's more too!

How long did the process take you? And any idea how long the wait for the ceremony will be?

It’s going quicker than I expected, and quicker than PR.

- I sent my application in first week of Jan 2022.
- They received it March 1, 2022.
- Test scheduled on Oct 3.
- Test updated as complete Oct 21.

Going by other peoples timelines, it should be approx 3 months from the most recent update (test complete) to doing the (probably online) ceremony.

So I’m looking at sometime January for the ceremony, and then a week or so for the paperwork, then apply for the passport.

I don't see much point in playing these games if they are not a warm up for the top players.

Love Canada, and would like to see them do well in the WC.

Still regretting the day we decided not to go ahead with plans to emigrate to Ontario because the missus fell pregnant...
