It's only right that he should now we have a new manager, perhaps Slade can get the best out of him.

i belive that jakey can now return two us having spent 28 days at aldersho t
gotta be a better bet than fraser on the right

Robinson has had more chances than Fraser and there are better options in the squad to replace Fraser e.g. Birchall, Livermore, Cox, Carole. What is the obsession with Robinson? He has proved he is not good enough consistently yet people obsess about him. He has one good game in ten generally.

Hardly a surprise. I'm sure the new manager will have a look at him and make a decision - either by keeping him or sending him back out on loan.

Add that to the fact that we could do with a few more fully fit players and it makes perfect sense to recall Robinson (I also think it made sense to send him out on loan - after all, we had three fit strikers at the time, with Murray being 2 weeks away from fitness - the sudden speight of injuries could not be predicted).

Im afraid Robinson completely failed. Yes he wasnt a bad impact sub but really offered little more than cox, carole or Mcleod do.

Some people like to forget he was our top scorer the seaon before last to make their argument seem more valid.

so that would make the 5th Manager to try that? at least 5 anyway....sorry but if those other 4 could'nt get anything from him I cant see how a 5th would help at all. Time to move on.

i would assume his progress will be monitored at aldershot and its better to leave him there playing 1st team footy than drag him back here just so he can watch the games from the sideline,i hope he stays at aldershot builds the confidence he has been lacking then in the summer his position at the club then decided.

I cant shake the feeling that in there somewere is a fine player who just actualy dosnt realise it himself just how good he could be,given the right guidence and opportunity, yes i know he has had many a chance in a albion shirt but i would not write him off just yet.

He had a very good two months where he scored 2 hat tricks (one against Conference Northwich) and then didn't score for the rest of the season. Since then I am struggling to think of many good games he has had except for the sub appearance at Orient last season. You can't keep a player on the basis he had a good spell two and a half years ago.

Couldn't agree more.

Exactly when has he come on and changed a game in our favour. Please enlighten me!

As someone else has already commented, it was not in the league. 5 of his 12 goals that season were against his level, non league!!!

This is such bulltoss. He is an excellent player, techinally very good, has pace and a good shot. Links very well with Cox aswell He seems to be a confidence player and clearly benefits from having a run in the team and not being put in and out and moved to right wing. He is a striker not a winger.

He played well in the season he scored some goals and tailed off, not exactly shocking for a younger player. If he had been developed well he could be a top performer for us now. Last season he wasn't given a fair crack of the whip. He needs a redknapp style arm around his shoulder to boost his confidence. He can't tackle for shit but who cares he is a striker. STOP SAYING HE IS USELESS.
