On a visa run for the weekend.

Staying out West near the airport. Looking for advise on what to pack in Sunday after a likely chilled out Saturday (unless any football going on locally) and any recommendations for a place to watch the :bhasign: game rather than just my hotel room.

Cheers as always! Moderately confident expat traveller, 35, up for most things. Am solo for the weekend.

Jalan Jaska always seemed like a good place for such person, pretty sure any football that is being shown live, will be on down there somewhere too, ( about 10 years ago since I was there last tho)

Jaksa just aint what it used to be... you'll find football on there though

Further south, Eastern Promises in Kemang (Jalan Kemang Raya) is a pretty fun and often-packed expat bar / indian restaurant / venue that will show the football, although not necessarily our football...

He’s a bit feisty in the political threads but seems an alright person.

I went to the East Indies with my wife.

Jakata?

No, she went on her own accord!!!

I'll get my coat. (In fact, in view of the weather, I might get several coats)

here and there
Had all my money, flight tickets, passport/visas etc nicked off me as I snoozed on a train between Jakarta and yogyakarta many years ago.

I'm wondering if I have some northern blood somewhere in my ancestry because I still hate them for it.

Be careful would be my advice.
