one of the reasons we made championship before, 5 goals in 10 games , numerous assists. Shame he didnt get on with McGhee so we could of kept him

That isn't strictly true is it. He wanted the club to buy him a house, something we couldn't afford and therefore he left for Germany where they offered him a relocation package.

fair enough , thought it was a personality thing

Nope, He even asked to come back after his year in Germany. MM turned him down because of what had happened previously.

Yep, And to be fair he wasn't untill this year. He was never any good for Stoke in the Championship which was the reason he ended up with us.

Woooo up there people.

Iwulemo wasn't that great when he was with us was he?

I've seen Col U several times this season (including yesterday against Luton) and I can confirm he is still the exact same player we let go.

Yes he's big and clumsy and causes problems but he can't:

a) trap a football
b) head a ball

He IS playing in a very good Col U side at the moment and has one of the best strikers in that league playing along side of him (Cureton). He took his first goal very well yesterday (although it was a tap from a couple of yards) but his second goal hit him square on the chin and ended up in the back of the net.

Yes, you've got to be in those positions to score but we were and are no where near the quality of of the current Col U side and we don't create any where near enough chances.

Personally I think McGhee was right not to attemp to keep the fella on.

As for Col U, if they keep the nucleus of that side for the reaminder of the season they'll be there or there abouts come the end of the season. Some how I think the cash carrot might be too tempting come the transfer window.
