A real promotion challenge?

Also does anyone think it's realistic that it could happen.

What, us signing a Bobby Zamora-esque striker to hit 20 or 25 goals and fire us into the Championship, given that we have a transfer budget of about £3.57?

Probably unlikely...

True, but what can you get for wages of 56p a week and a free bacon baguette on matchdays?

(Disclaimer: The above statement may not be a totally accurate assessment of our financial situation)

Lucky you put that disclaimer in Fruots as I have unreliably been informed that in fact we can give £2.78 a week, three hot dogs and as many free rides as you want on the Palace Pier.... A WEEK!!!!

Luxury!

we wasted our money on Forster and I believe as stated in another thread with a decent striker 20 or so, we would easily get to the play offs , or even 3rd place

Possibly a winger as well, but we are not far off.

Hang on, you've not seen us play? You got a lot of opinions on the job Wilkins is doing considering.

I would disagree that we have wasted money on Forster he is a proven goal scorer at a higher level than this and with the right service will do so for us.

All we have to do is get the blend right and give him the service he needs.

I would like to see him feeding Robinson on the wings as he did in the friendly against Fulham and Reading. I believe that the major problem in our goal scoring is findg his right partner and I do not believe that either Savage or Revell is that he needs a Dele Adebola, Paul Furlong, or any of the four that Leeds have Kandol, Beckford, Andrews or De Fries.

So the answer to the starter of this thread is YES.
