It's becoming demoralising

...that every time we get a new manager, he succeeds in getting Brighton up the league, and promptly goes to a "better club".

If this is happening again now (and in undoubtably is an eventuality) then the root of the problem is definitely to be attributed to the slow council, who just have NO CLUE about getting a local stadium within our City.

Ferchrissake, that lot would be in the gas chambers before they realised the Nazis were a threat, they are so lumbering and out-dated. (Thankfully their sort weren't anything to do with defending Britain back then).

It's not DK's fault, but I only hope he doesn't accept BHA 'falling into place' as an inferior club with low aspirations just because managers see us as a good stepping stone to 'greater things'.

At the foot of the downs
Its always gonna happen in todays football climate, the good thing is that because weve had good managers we have been a healthy club and are thus able to get a decent manager to replace them..

(apart from the start of last season)

Ride the storm, Coppel hasn't left yet !!

how is it the nimby's fault at Lewes?

We must have known that to build a stadium on this piece of land would take a hell of a lot of local opposition and so it has, so much to the point that we have had to have a public enquiry.

What really gets me in all of this is the apparent lack of support from the likes of the university who at the 11th hour in an enquiry still hadn't agreed their bit of the deal.

Its them we should be having a pop at.

Also, we all know the transfer market has died - witness Bobby- and football is going out of vogue with the finance boys but we are still confident in raising the sort of finance required to build the place? I am glad our board ( who cannot hold on to managers for tofee) are still as confident, cos I am not
