Items confiscated at Withdean

On Tuesday night at the turnstiles, my friend had her handbag searched and had an offending item confiscated by the steward.... a Dove roll on deodorant!!!!

Anybody else had weird stuff confiscated at Withdean?

They don't take them off when they sell at Withdean. Near enough every other ground i've been too, but never at Withdean

This whole 'heavy' object thing is bollox, they would have to confiscate everything (Mobile phone, wallets ect) these would do far more damage than a silly plastic bottle.

Also, how is a bottle without a lid not heavy? if you threw a bottle that was full, without the lid on, not much if any would come out in the air.

This was a few years ago but a Hull supporter at work told me that he overheard a steward denying access to the WEST STAND to a woman with a tray of chips with a PLASTIC FORK because she "might chuck it".
