I know there are a few IT bods on here so thought I would check if anyone has any recommendations for someone who creates IT specific CVs. Haven't updated mine for 12 years but the best thing I did with that one is deal with a lady who specialised in IT CVs and sat down with me for an hour going through my history and turning into a brilliant summary. Just getting prepared at this stage but the time to get out of Dodge may be heading soon so looking to turn my extensive, varied experience into something short that makes sense.

A quick Google provides a few generic offers but a more bespoke service would be good.

I always wrote my own ....
In the last 15 years of working as an IT contract project/programme manager I switched the format from Employer based listing each with tasks / skills / achievements /duties / responsibilities / etc. by putting a table of companies I've work for [with start / end dates] near the end and then structuring the body of the CV around articulating my skills, experiences, achievements and fine tuning this to the job spec of the role I was applying for. The logic of this was telling first what I can do / bring to their organisation and then list where / who I'd done this, and how long for.

This way also helped me keep it on 2 sides of A4
