Not the real one
Just got up out of the scratcher and its windy and pissing it down. Just get the feeling that that's it. Winter is arising from the North (where gloomy things come from), it drops on us like bird shit, very quickly and stays for a long time.

Is all hope lost or do we have a few more weekends of shorts and sandals?

September? nice? Afters.
Nah, gets colder damper and miserable.

Thats it, The damp weather, thats what I hate. If it was really crispy cold no problem, but its that 11c damp drissle that makes it seem freezing. God I hate our winters. Thank God Tony Blair and his communist government haven't taken away the pleasure of a nice warm pub in winter. Ahhhh.

you bunch of fairys! It's a little bit cooler than 2 weeks ago when it was over 35 but it's still warm. I will have the stripes showing throughout the winter as always no matter how nippy it gets!

It was only 9 degs in Yorkshire overnight but has increased to 16 today.

Once the wind changes direction from the north it will warm up again.

Do you have alot of fat to keep you warm then? Or high blood pressure from too much drinking? I'm always warm on a sunday after a piss up even if its freezing.

It'll be nice and warm by the middle of next week (temps back up to mid 20s), so summer is not over.

however, all the signs are pointing towards a cold winter this time round, so best get your snow shoes read.
