However good that was, it still doesnt make up for the fact we had to put up with 10 games of dross with baffling tactics, mind boggling team selections and some terrible results

Hopefully it is a kick start to our season, but the result counts for nothing, if we go on another run of games without winning.

Messiah, no.

Flucked is very very harsh, he got the brickbats when we couldn't hold a lead so should take the credit when things work.

I have not been his biggest fan this time around but last night saw the return of a typical Adams team, never was the Messiah imo but if he continues to build the team spirit and fighting qualities of the team his tactical shortcomings will not be so apparent.

Credit where it's due without little digs is the way forward, even if it means admitting you ( and me) might be wrong about the 2nd coming

I hope i am wrong but it still looks like i am right... it's only that we actually won via an own goal... that's why i said fluke...

In the circumstances a draw would have been a bloody good result, so we got a bit of luck for a change, doesn't every team?

I think the next few games will judge Micky's success. If we go back on a poor run, the Leicester game will have been a FLUKE. If we start to win, the Leicester game will be seen as the turning point where Micky's newboys (and loanees) finally gelled.

Are all own goals flukes that don't deserve any credit? There is the small matter that if Hobbs had missed that ball, an Albion player was screaming in unmarked on the far post to knock it in. Or over. Or wide.

On the second half performance (and the first half wasn't THAT bad), there's no way that win was a fluke.
