No, I think it's a fair point. The answer is no he isn't, well at least I don't think so. I see where you're coming from though, Wade started with a bang [who will be the next Brighton player to score 4 goals against Newcastle?] and then just fizzled out. I think if Knight's going to follow in anyone's footsteps it will be Kurt Nogan's: - good but not quite the hero we crave - and prone to dry spells.

He needs another front man to draw defenders away so that two big burley 6 footers aren't going to squash him.

Give him a bit of space and he'll poach goals out of anything. His positioning is excellent.

Leon Knight isa quality player, come on FG tell me what he is sposed to do whenhe is only 5 foot 4 and every other tit in the team thinks he is 6 foot + and keep lobbing balls over his head?

The partnership with Henderson isn't working either, Henderson out Carl Wilson-Denis in!

the jury is still out for me as i believe he would benefit from a true tall target man and Henderson isnt that man! Certainly the way SC has them playing long hihg balls is far from ideal though it does highlight the weekness Leon has in being such a migit! We desperately need a Warren Asprinal or Dean Wlkins that can play the ball on the ground accurately to feet.

Leon is the target man now for defenders, I think either Darius and Leon should switch it about a bit and confuse the defense, or we get another striker and Bring Leon as Sub each game, that way other teams will not have a strategy to keep him at bay. I think we are too predicatable.

Yep - Colchester read us like a book.

No imagination at present. Hoof and hope. We are still up there, but our luck is starting to run out. As such we have to start performing. We do not have an automatic right to promotion or the play offs, I think the Players need to realise this sharpish.

I think you have a fair point. I've only seen Leon twice so far - against QPR he looked sharp and likely to score. Against Swindon he was out of the game for long periods as he doesn't come and get the ball - it has to come to him. In his defence he is still learning his trade and the midfield is so poor going forward that we would struggle to score with Shearer and Owen up front.

Meopham, Kent.
He'll score 15-20 goals this season which is an excellent return for a striker. That sort of scoring ratio means he will go a few games without scoring. Don't get on his back for it, he's by far the best forward we have.

We have been spoilt seeing 30+ from BZ for 2 seasons running, we will probably NEVER see that again.
