Has there ever been a team so good at 'concentrating on the league'?
With Saturday's FA Cup game v Coventry just around the corner, is anyone expecting a win? Granted we're not exactly hitting the highspots at the moment, but I want to know if there is a more ineffective team in the FA or League Cups in the country?
We seem to get knocked out at the first hurdle of each every season, without the excuse of having played higher oposition (Spurs excepted). Every season seems to bring the same early exit for us - why is this?
I've supported Brighton properly since 1990 and can't remember any cup runs of any significance (and unfortunately significance means 1 win), with the exception of the League Cup in 93/94 or arond then, when we beat Leicester.
So, will this year be different?
