More delay, more money down the drain for solicitors etc and where is this money going to come from ?
Too much spin doctoring going on at the moment on this board from the likes of Bracknell and Samrah. I can't see how both sides are proclaiming victory when one has to be wrong.
I think I'm going to wait and see who's right as there is a lot more to come out in the wash and of course I wait to see how Dick Tight is going to fund these new developments.

Although being Ernest he does have a point, where the **** are we gonna get this money from? use the Play-off final money? (if we hav'nt already due to debt), sell a player to fund the inquiry?

i also agree with what ernest is saying. how can both sides be happy with the outcome today? someone has to lose!

thats is true. either we're miss-understanding it or the nimbys are. they see it as it won't go on falmer cos we are being told to look at alternative sites, we see it as we have a stadium but we just don't know where

Aye abuse , doesn't answer the question of where the cash is going to come from and there will be thousands of others wanting to know too.

The business plan is confidential so there is no point speculating on how it will be funded. But if you really, seriously think that Knight, Perry et al (sensible businessmen) would go to all this expense, stress and hassle without knowing that they could finance it then you are a bigger clown than I took you for.

Errrm, no we don't. Or I don't, anyway. There are no other sites, they will all be dismissed and Falmer it will be.

Absolutely. It's about disproving the suitability of the sites and getting Falmer built to avoid judicial review.

I'm with Ernest, at least to some degree. The are some unanswered questions which make me nervous:

1) How long will the re-opened Inquiry take?
2) Who will have to fund this ?
3) Will this impact the playing budget?
4) We cannot be completely sure that all the other sites will be dismissed (although I agree it's likely they will)
5) Even if all other sites are dismissed, does that necessarily mean that Falmer will be given the green light

My responses to the above would be:

1) How long is a piece of string
2) The club I would presume
3) It must do
4) Agreed, we cannot be sure with the likes of Hoile around
5) Not even Lord B is sure of this, he could only state his opinion (which is fair enough). To me this is the biggest point of all and is the key to who has "won" with today's announcement
