Is golden goal still used???

Can't remember the last time I saw the golden goal rule used in extra time, is it still used in some competitions these days?
Wasnt there silver goal rule as well, if a game finished at half time in extra time if a goal was scored?

Nope. Its used in some tournaments but not any major ones I know of. Which I'm glad of tbh, a playground way of deciding a big game imo.

Thankfully not - Its a terrible way to decide a game, perfer penalty shoot outs any day of the week.

Disagree. Much better than penalties. At least it's a legitimate goal.

The idea was to get teams to go 'all out attack' in search of the goal, but in reality it just made team sit back and wait for pennos!
